Come join the pack for a weekend of hockey, community and fun at the 2027 Howl On Ice Tournament!

We are striving to host a fun, but competitive tournament for all teams invited. Applicants that are a good fit will be emailed and asked further questions about their team to find the best competitive match.

Tiers are subject to change after CAHL tiering is complete. We will keep you informed if the tiers for our teams change. Please be available for some games to start at 3:00 PM on the Friday of the tournament.

Cancellation Policy

If a team has to cancel out, fees will ONLY be refunded if we can find another team to take their place in the tournament.

hotel blocks

We have blocked rooms at two hotels in Strathmore for your teams on a first-come, first-served basis. More information will be released to the teams that have been invited and paid their fee.

Please note there are no accommodations in Standard or Hussar, however Strathmore is a quick 25 minute drive to Standard and a 30 minute drive to Hussar. If you'd prefer, Drumheller is another option, and is about a 40 minute drive to Standard and a 35 minute drive to Hussar. Your teams will likely have games in both arenas.
